ALTERATIONS ASSOCIATE - YORKTOWN MALL
About the role
Your unique skills contribute to our reputation as America’s Leading Department Store. You will work with customers and execute a variety of alterations, such as hemming of jeans and pants.
Responsibilities
- Own the customer experience – greet people sincerely, be friendly, and thank every customer
- Measure, fit, mark, and pin garments according to customer specifications
- Disassemble, sew, and/or reassemble garments according to measurements taken during fitting – use iron and steamer to prepare garments for customers
- Repair damaged or defective merchandise
- Garment work may range from basic to moderately difficult sewing/alteration procedures
- Maintain a clean department and work area
Requirements
Candidates must be professionally competent in all basic and some advanced alterations.

Pay
The expected base wage for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr with overtime eligibility. Successful candidates’ wages will be determined based on their individual qualifications for the position. Pay range listed is provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.
