ALS Paramedic - Transport

About the role

Join our ground transport team as an ALS Paramedic, providing critical patient care during inter-hospital transports in Clinton, Maryland. You will collaborate with EMTs and Critical Care nurses to deliver expert emergency medical services, including administering medications, IV fluids, and managing complex cases for both adults and pediatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care while ensuring safety and adherence to policies and regulations.
• Communicate clinical information accurately and document patient care thoroughly.
• Maintain a safe environment and support patient comfort and advocacy.
• Collaborate with medical control physicians and participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Administer pharmacologic agents, manage intravenous fluids, and ensure safe ambulance operations.
• Participate in team meetings, community outreach, and new staff orientation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED, with completion of an approved EMT-Paramedic course.
• 1-2 years of paramedic experience preferred.
• Current NREMT-P, Maryland, and District of Columbia paramedic licenses.
• Required certifications including CPR, ACLS, PALS, and other trauma or specialty courses.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record, plus completion of an approved emergency vehicle operations course.
