Alloy Wheel Repair Technician

About the role

We’re looking for Autobody Technicians with a minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history and one of the four fastest companies to make the Fortune 500.

As an Automotive Wheel Repair Technician, you’ll repair deep wheel damage, use a wheel repair machine, and paint and clear-coat wheels. You’ll work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers. Entry-level positions include training programs to ensure your skills and pay progress along with the company.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in wheel/rim repair
• Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools, including lifting up to 60 pounds independently
• Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a valid driver’s license (some positions may require a Motor Vehicle Records check)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
• Use of safety equipment, including but not limited to face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, mask, and other protective garments and equipment
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English

Schedule

Required overtime is a key part of our business strategy to meet demand. Team members must be available to work mandatory overtime based on business needs.
