Allied - Pharmacist - Travel

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and accurately dispense medications.
• Review physician orders for safety, accuracy, and potential drug interactions.
• Counsel patients and healthcare staff on medication use and therapeutic outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and hospital pharmacy regulations.
• Maintain accurate medication records and support inventory management.
• Participate in medication safety and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Active Missouri Pharmacist License (Pending MO license accepted at submission.)
• Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy (PharmD preferred).
• Hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of clinical pharmacy practices and medication safety.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work the facility schedule: Monday - 11 hrs, Tuesday - 11 hrs, Thursday - 7 hrs, Friday - 11 hrs.
