Alliance Sales Executive, Associate Director, Snowflake - Industrials & Energy

EY’s Sales & Strategic Pursuits (S&SP) function unites sales leadership, sector insight, technology expertise, and solution depth to drive market-leading growth. Responsibilities

  • Sales Origination
    • Relentlessly originate net-new pipeline in Energy industry groups by identifying unmet needs, emerging priorities, and transformation opportunities
    • Drive sales across three core channels:
      • Direct client origination
      • Snowflake/EY co-sell motions
      • EY account team-led pursuits
    • Lead early-stage opportunity identification and qualification, independently shaping pursuits from signal detection through deal maturation
  • Snowflake Alliance Leadership
    • Demonstrate deep understanding of I&E clients’ most pressing challenges, including:
      • Fragmented operational, engineering, and commercial data across upstream, midstream, and downstream value chains
      • Cloud data modernization across legacy operational systems, historians, and enterprise platforms
      • Data governance, security, and trust across regulated, safety-critical, and geographically distributed environments
      • Advanced analytics and AI enablement for asset performance, forecasting, and optimization
      • Data resiliency, availability, and reliability to support mission-critical operations and grid / production stability
    • Translate Snowflake platform capabilities—secure data sharing, governed data access, advanced analytics, and AI—into business outcomes that resonate with senior Energy executives
    • Build trusted executive relationships that position EY as a strategic transformation partner, for Snowflake and beyond
  • Industry Impact
    • Demonstrate strong understanding of I&E organizations’ key business drivers, including:
      • Operational efficiency and asset reliability, margin pressure and cost optimization, decarbonization, energy transition, and sustainability commitments, regulatory, environmental, and safety requirements, Supply chain complexity and market volatility
    • Translate Snowflake capabilities into high-value outcomes, such as:
      • Enterprise data unification across operations, trading, finance, and sustainability
      • Asset performance management and predictive maintenance
      • Demand, production, and price forecasting
      • Grid modernization, resiliency, and outage analytics
      • Emissions tracking, ESG reporting, and sustainability analytics
      • AI-driven insights to improve efficiency, safety, and decision-making
      • Enterprise data modernization, unifying manufacturing, ERP, IoT, and operational data into a scalable cloud data platform
      • Data monetization and AI use cases (e.g., predictive maintenance, demand forecasting, digital twins, supply chain optimization)
      • Operational efficiency and resilience through real-time analytics across production, logistics, and asset performance
  • AI-Enabled Selling & Innovation
    • Infuse AI into the full sales lifecycle, including:
      • Account and opportunity analytics
      • Intelligent prospecting and prioritization
      • Pattern recognition across pipeline and buying signals
      • AI-supported storytelling, proposal shaping, and pursuit orchestration
      • Integrating and leveraging digital sales agents across the entire sales lifecycle
    • Serve as a role model for modern, AI-forward sales execution, helping elevate sales effectiveness across teams
  • Market Leadership & Collaboration
    • Deep sector and Snowflake technology expertise, with the ability to translate that knowledge into enterprise-scale transformations that deliver measurable business outcomes.
    • Be the face of EY’s Snowflake Alliance within EY’s I&E businesses and the face of EY to Snowflake Energy and Industrial Products teams
    • This role requires an individual who can envision and activate a multi-alliance ecosystem, helping position EY as the firm that orchestrates partners, platforms and services to unlock new growth and transformation opportunities for clients.
    • Orchestrate cross-service line and cross-functional teams to bring the best of EY to pursuit opportunities
    • Coach and influence account teams and peers through active leadership in the market—not authority alone

    Qualifications

    • 10+ years of quota-carrying sales experience in professional services, technology, and/or enterprise solutions
    • Demonstrated success as a net-new business hunter, not solely an account or alliance manager
    • Direct experience & success selling to I&E clients and deep expertise in the key issues and opportunities facing I&E clients
    • Strong Snowflake ecosystem experience, including co-sell and channel-led motions
    • Deep knowledge of the Snowflake platform
    • Experience with the broader Snowflake partner ecosystem and how Snowflake fits into a multi-vendor landscape
    • Prior experience selling at a Big Four firm or large global systems integrator
    • Exceptional client relationship management and executive communication skills
    • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Technical background or delivery/program leadership experience
    • Experience selling large, complex, multi-stakeholder transformation programs
    • Strong coaching and mentoring capability
    • Proven team-selling experience across alliances and solution teams
    • Willingness to travel up to 50%

      What we offer you

      • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $221,410 to $280,070 plus participation in an incentive compensation program applicable to Sales Executives. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $265,650 to $318,290 plus participation in an incentive compensation program applicable to Sales Executives. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography.
