About the role

The Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking physicians who are board certified or board eligible by an American Medical Specialty Board. Our North Bay locations in Sonoma County offer practice settings that are conveniently located near excellent schools, and offer affordable housing, diverse communities, and an abundance of recreational activities.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to a high-performing team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide comprehensive, compassionate, and evidence-based patient care.
  • Participate in clinical research and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative care models.

Requirements

  • Board certification or board eligibility in an American Medical Specialty Board.
  • MD or DO degree.
  • Current California Medical License.
  • Experience in primary care or specialty medicine preferred.

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Passion for patient-centered care and continuous professional development.

Skills

  • Effective problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical records systems.
