Autumn 2025 will see Burgundy Bordeaux, Claret or Maroon embraced by major designers like Prada, Ferragamo, and Gucci, delivering the timeless allure of ruby-red wine-inspired tones – and it very much looks like Burgundy is here to stay.

Burgundy pairs beautifully with neutrals like cream, camel, or soft pink, and is surprisingly we think it makes equally stunning statement when you wear it with white, denim blues, black and my personal favourite is it look gorgeous with all tones of grey.

Vogue says it is central to Autumn collections, Marie Claire highlights chocolate brown and all the designers embracing the colour across all styles. COS's Pre-Autumn 2025 collection includes standout pieces such as a chocolate-brown trench coat, cementing the hue's chic credentials according to Who What Wear.
