All Steel Building Foreman

Responsibilities

• Able to read CAD drawings and blueprints
• Works to gain speed and knowledge of assigned areas
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisors
• Has or is able to obtain a CDL driver’s license
• Communicate effectively with good written, verbal, and listening skills
• Interact well with and assist others; get along with coworkers and supervisors
• Lead a crew, accept assignments, and respond constructively to criticism
• Be open to change and flexibility: accept new duties, respond to fluctuating work hours, cross-train, and help where needed most
• Be punctual and consistent in attendance
• Be available for and willing to work overtime
• Follow through on assignments to completion
• Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner, utilizing required safety equipment
• Keep work area neat and orderly
• Report unsafe conditions to supervisors
• Follow established procedures
• Tolerate extreme environmental conditions (temperatures range from -10°F to 100°F+)

Requirements

High School diploma with related experience to erecting all-steel buildings.
