All-Source Intelligence Analyst
About the role
Amentum is seeking a junior to mid-level experienced All-Source Intelligence Analyst in Springfield, VA in support of a Department of Defense (DoD) customer. In this role, you will play a pivotal role as part of an Intelligence team, providing on-site expertise through all-source analysis of foreign intelligence capabilities and personnel, emergent technology related to specific mission areas, and other topics of interest in support of our customer.
Responsibilities
- Conduct spatially enabled, all-source analysis using intelligence and information from multiple sources to assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that are regional or functional in nature.
- Provide all-source analytic support to collections, operations, investigations, and other defense intelligence analytic requirements.
- Brief results in the form of graphical, written, visual, and verbal narrative products, adhering to DNI analytic tradecraft standards, while also balancing some creative writing opportunities.
- Draft detailed reports based on historical recounting of events while providing customer alternative courses of action and solutions.
- Research and understand client needs for niche problem sets faced by DoD customers.
- Use Publicly Available Information (PAI) to answer intelligence requirements and information gaps involving science and technology.
- Maintain compliance with intelligence oversight laws and regulations.
- Leverage large, complex, spatial, and temporal data to produce relevant intelligence products.
Qualifications
Must have an Active Top Secret US Government Clearance with SCI eligibility. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top Secret Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree or comparable military/civilian training in intelligence, cyber, social media, PAI, technical trade, or geospatial specialization.
- Four (4) or more years of related experience.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills, and highly developed attention to detail.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills, and the ability to conduct briefings to a variety of audiences, including senior government officials.
- Strong understanding and experience with Microsoft 365 products, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Six (6) or more years of related experience.
- Experience with military activities, special operations, intelligence community, or other specialized skills related to science and technology.
- Familiarity with social media monitoring tools, geospatial monitoring tools, managed attribution networks, JWICS databases, Tripwire, and M3 messaging.
- Ability to identify vulnerabilities and convey threats in written format.
- Successful completion of a formal military or government intelligence training program or civilian equivalent training.

Pay
The compensation range for this position is $110,000.00 - $135,000.00. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job responsibilities, education, experience, skills, internal equity, market data, applicable collective bargaining agreements, and relevant laws.
Schedule
This is a non-remote, full-time on-site position located in Springfield, VA. Standard work schedule is 40 hours per week/8 hours per day with the occasional need to flex hours based on customer support needs. Some after-hours or short-term shift work may be required to support urgent customer requirements, including weekends and holidays. Occasional travel may be required (0-10%).
