About the role

Senior Helpers of Portage/Geauga In Home Caregivers and Home Health Aides provide personalized care to help seniors remain safe and independent in their homes. The role involves providing personal care, medication reminders, meal preparation, light housekeeping, companionship, and transportation.

Responsibilities

• Have fun and engaging conversations with clients to build relationships
• Participate in clients' favorite hobbies
• Prep meals for clients to enjoy
• Aid clients with walking, dressing, and other daily activities
• Report completed activities and provide updates on clients' physical condition, mental capacity, and behavior

Requirements

• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma or GED/equivalent
• Pass Background Check
• Valid Drivers License
• Current Auto Insurance
• Preferred - Experience in-home, assisted living, or facility caregiving
• You are passionate about helping others
• You enjoy customer service and communicating with clients
• You want to help your community and make a difference in someone’s life
