Thompson Coburn is seeking an associate attorney with 0–2 years of experience to join its Private Client practice group in the St. Louis office.
- A strong interest in estate planning and wealth transfer strategies, estate and trust administration, gift and estate tax planning, charitable planning, and family business succession planning.
- Exposure to these areas of interest and experience with gift, estate, or fiduciary income tax returns through prior legal experience and clerkships is a plus, but not required.
- Successful completion of coursework in estate, gift and GST taxes and/or income tax is strongly preferred.
- Strong academic credentials and excellent analytical, research, and writing skills.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
