1933 Group is looking to hire security hosts for multiple bars & restaurants. Formed nearly two decades ago, the 1933 Group helms a lauded portfolio of bars in Los Angeles such as Highland Park Bowl, Bigfoot Lodge, La Cuevita, and Oldfields Cocktail Bar. Each concept reflects bold, modern interpretations reflective of the company's dynamic partners and memorable eras.

Responsibilities

• Check identification at the door.
• Greet guests with a courteous and professional manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service.
• Communicate to management any guest issues and/or safety concerns in an effective manner.
• Maintain a safe and fun environment for guests and staff.
• Diffuse situations and issues according to company standards and protocol.
• Control the flow of foot traffic & monitor capacity when necessary.
• Identify intoxicated guests and follow company policy and standards when dealing with any issues or conflict.
• Be neat, punctual and maintain a professional appearance.
• Assist coworkers at all times and continuously be a team player.
• Maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances.

Qualifications

• Valid California BSIS Guard Card.
• Minimum of 1 year experience.
• At least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one verifiable employer.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation.
