Responsibilities

  • Complete assigned duties in a safe and efficient manner in compliance with company procedures.
  • Report any unsafe equipment or condition to the immediate supervisor.
  • Assist Alignment & Grinding supervisors during service jobs.
  • Get trained on our patented alignment procedure, filling the quality records to deliver to the customer in a timely fashion.
  • Generate service reports in the report templates (within 2-3 days after the visit).
  • Get trained with various alignment methods on Rotary equipment like Thrust Monitor Alignment, Cold Alignment, and Hot Kiln Alignment.
  • Be familiar with surveying methods and using a Theodolite, Auto level, and electronic distance measuring tools.
  • Get trained on calibration methods for various equipment.
  • Know the procedures for repair and maintenance of rotary equipment.
  • Formulate recommendations as a result of the mechanical analysis performed.
  • Provide support to our Construction and Repair crew for installing base frames, rollers, tires, drive components, and shell sections to specified tolerances.
  • Maintain alignment equipment neat and clean and inventory all tools and equipment provided by the company.
  • Maintain up-to-date contact information in order to be reached for work.

  • Interact and cooperate with coworkers and customer personnel in a professional manner.
  • Maintain open communications with Supervisors as well as with the Project Manager/department manager.
