Alignment Scientist/Engineer

Responsibilities

• Conduct alignment R&D autonomously in fast-paced environments
• Guide research direction with collaborators
• Develop and evaluate deep learning models
• Create and test concrete experiments based on complex problems
• Utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and processes

Qualifications

• Experienced in ML research, alignment research, or both
• Deeply passionate about AI alignment
• Excellent at Python, Pytorch, and modern deep learning stack
• Knowledgeable in building, training, or evaluating deep learning models
• Adept at breaking down complex problems into testable experiments
• AI-native and eager to automate workflow with AI tools
