Responsibilities

• Develop algorithms for detection, classification, image analysis, and AI/ML applications.
• Design tools and methods for data analysis, testing, validation, and model improvement.
• Research and apply emerging technologies in AI, machine learning, and deep learning.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to move concepts from research to production.
• Document technical work and communicate results to a variety of stakeholders.
• Contribute to innovative solutions that enhance security screening capabilities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related technical field.

Experience:

• Early Career Engineer (0-2 Years): Academic, internship, research, or project experience in AI, machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or software development. Familiarity with algorithm development and data analysis.
• Emerging Engineer (2-4 Years): Hands-on experience applying algorithms, machine learning models, or data analysis techniques. Experience developing technical solutions in academic or professional environments.
• Experienced Engineer (5-8+ Years): Proven experience designing, implementing, and optimizing algorithms or AI/ML solutions. Strong technical expertise in machine learning, computer vision, image processing, or related disciplines. Experience mentoring and providing technical leadership is a plus.
