Alabama English Learner/Emerging Bilingual Consultant/Instructional Coach

About the role

Supports English Learner and Emerging Bilingual students in Alabama schools through instructional coaching and consulting.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional development and coaching to teachers focusing on ELL and EB strategies.
• Collaborate with school teams to develop and implement effective instructional practices.
• Evaluate student progress and provide feedback to teachers and administrators.
• Conduct observations and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching methods.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on best practices for ELL and EB education.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field.
• Experience working with English Learners and/or Emerging Bilingual students.
• Knowledge of state and federal guidelines for ELL and EB education.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with educators and administrators.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Experience in educational leadership or management.
• Previous experience in instructional coaching or consulting.

Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
