About the role

Hamilton Pointe Health and Rehabilitation Assisted Living seeks a Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will foster lifelong relationships and provide exceptional care to our residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, health needs, safety, and comfort to residents
• Perform professional assessments and document resident health
• Afford care assignments, routine skills, and procedures
• Develop and implement resident care plans
• Monitor residents' psychological functions, fluid balance, elimination, electrolyte status, laboratory results, respiratory status, neurological status, and nutritional status
• Ensure care plans are followed and make recommendations for revisions
• Maintain confidentiality and protect residents' rights and privacy
• Complete necessary documentation and teach residents about admissions, transfers, and discharge
• Work collaboratively with the DON/ADON to manage and monitor nurse's notes
• Make rounds with physicians
• Adhere to professional code of ethics and corporate compliance

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Valid LPN or RN license in good standing according to State and Federal requirements
• Thorough understanding of safe and effective nursing practices
• Ability to work harmoniously with various professionals and non-professionals
• Discretion and ability to protect confidential information
• Compliance with professional code of ethics
