AKS / Kubernetes Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a resource with strong hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS) to support a critical enterprise application environment with growing reliance on containerized workloads. The role will focus on maintaining the stability, performance, and operational efficiency of existing AKS-based solutions, while also supporting the organization's broader modernization efforts toward a modular microservices architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, configure, and manage AKS environments in production
• Troubleshoot complex issues and support incident resolution
• Implement scalable, resilient platform patterns
• Help reduce key-person dependency risk and improve response times for production issues
• Provide technical depth needed to support day-to-day platform operations
• Contribute to the modernization of legacy monolithic applications into containerized services
• Help establish best practices for Kubernetes operations, deployment automation, observability, and platform governance

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in Azure Kubernetes Services (AKS)
• Proven experience designing, deploying, configuring, and managing AKS environments in production
• Strong experience with Azure cloud services, container orchestration, and production support
