Akamai Platform Engineer

Location: Fort Worth, TX (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)
Duration: 6-month contract ending January 2027

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Vendor Analyst to manage and onboard applications to the Akamai platform, with a strong focus on CDN, traffic optimization, and web security, including edge protection. Candidates with H1B visas are welcome, provided all visa action items are completed before submission.

Responsibilities

• Define, manage, and onboard applications to the Akamai platform.
• Optimize content delivery networks (CDN) and traffic flow for enhanced performance.
• Implement and maintain strong web security measures, including edge protection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and operation of applications.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in CDN, traffic optimization, and web security.
• Proficiency in utilizing the Akamai platform.
• College-level degree and certifications specific to Akamai.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Pay

$60–$63 per hour on W2.
