Airport Warehouse Agent

Job Duties

• Build/strip commissary according to airline specs and schedules within established timelines
• Actively participates in the Safety Management System (SMS)
• Complete inventories according to airline requirements
• Understand and comply with Canada Border Services Agency Memorandum D7-1-1 & D4-1-4
• Understand and comply with Transport Canada requirements
• Understand and comply with IATA Food Safety requirements
• Actively participate in Sky Café’s Safety Management System (SMS) including reporting hazard and incidents encountered in daily operations
• Understand, comply with and promote the company Safety Policy
• Maintain safety and security of the warehouse at all times
• Aid in set up, cleaning and storage of equipment & warehouse
• Assist in receiving, performing temperature testing and inspection of catering deliveries from our food service provider
• Operate forklift while observing safe procedures and maintenance of equipment, including the performance of equipment checks
• Comply with all Sky Café and airline policies
• Constantly communicate with other catering personnel, and respective airline communication centers if applicable
• Perform other duties as required

  Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • Ability to work on a permanent basis in Canada
  • Obtain a clear criminal record
  • Ability to obtain necessary airport and/or Transport Canada security clearances
  • Must be capable of lifting/pushing/pulling up to 70lbs on a regular basis
  • Ability to work within the required time parameters
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays and varying schedules
  • Successfully complete airline and corporate specific training programs and recertification
