As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control activities, and respond to alarms and security-related concerns. Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or government representatives while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, restricted-access points, parking areas, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
- Monitor access points and assist with verifying authorization for entry to designated areas in accordance with established procedures.
