As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and report observations while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first culture with integrity and teamwork. Position Type: Part Time.

Pay

Pay Rate: $26.50 / Hour

Schedule

Job Schedule: DayTime Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM; Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and government representatives while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor and report suspicious activity, unattended property, access-control concerns, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and other critical events in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain communication with supervisors and site personnel regarding daily activities, incidents, and security-related concerns.

Requirements

  • Have at least one year of security-related experience.
  • Preferred ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Preferred comfort using a computer or tablet.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's License (+1 year).
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office.
