Airport Security Officer
About the role
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government transportation location.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and public agency personnel as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, public areas, restricted access points, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access activity and observe people, vehicles, and/or property throughout the location, documenting security-related incidents and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Support orderly operations by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and reporting maintenance, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 1+ years of Security Experience
- 21+ years of age
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience

Pay
$22.50 / Hour with an hourly bonus of $1.96. Premium paid shall be based on the position actually worked by the employee.
