As Egis' electrical engineer, your responsibilities will include reviewing and developing construction documents such as design, plans development, project specifications, calculation reports, shop drawings, Request for Information, cost estimates, material quantity takeoffs, client comment responses, and staff hour estimates for the transportation and infrastructure industry. You will provide support to Egis' Aviation industry as well as the opportunity to work across various states. Additionally, you will assist project managers in responding to Request for Proposals for business development by providing creative engineering abilities.
Responsibilities
- Review and develop construction documents including design, plans, project specifications, and calculation reports.
- Prepare shop drawings, respond to Requests for Information (RFI), and create cost estimates and material quantity takeoffs.
- Address client comments and prepare staff hour estimates.
- Support the Aviation industry and work across multiple states.
- Assist project managers in responding to Request for Proposals (RFP) for business development.
Requirements
- PE required or state equivalent.
- 8+ years of Civil Airport project experience.
