Airport Agent - MGW
About the role
Airport agents at SkyWest are responsible for ensuring excellent customer service through various tasks such as ticketing and rebooking passengers, boarding flights, assisting passengers with special needs, and resolving customer concerns.
Responsibilities
- Load/unload customer luggage, airfreight, and company mail on/off aircraft
- Greet passengers, issue tickets, provide seat assignments, check baggage, board flights, assist customers that arrive without their luggage, and rebook passengers
- Escort passengers and special-needs customers safely and courteously
- Marshal aircraft in and out of the ramp area
- Service aircraft as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must pass a background check and drug screening
- Lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must be adaptable to changing priorities and manage time effectively
- Must have strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- This is a part-time position starting at $16 per hour
- The position requires a flexible schedule, including split shifts that may occur during early mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of fundamental computer programs for record-keeping and baggage routing is required.
Skills
