Airline Inventory Agent (Temporary Assignment)
Position Summary
The Airline Inventory Agent supports a major airline by helping complete a wall-to-wall inventory audit of aircraft parts, tools, equipment, and maintenance materials. Working alongside airline maintenance and materials professionals, you’ll count inventory, scan barcodes, verify part numbers and storage locations, document discrepancies, and help ensure inventory records accurately reflect the materials located inside the facility.
Essential Responsibilities
- Count and verify aircraft parts, tools, equipment, and maintenance inventory
- Scan barcodes and record inventory using handheld scanners or mobile devices
- MATCH part numbers, quantities, and storage locations with inventory records
- Assist with organizing inventory and identifying discrepancies
- Perform accurate data entry and inventory documentation
- Work alongside airline maintenance and materials professionals
- Follow all airline safety procedures and facility guidelines
- Maintain accuracy throughout the inventory audit
Qualifications
- No aviation experience required
- Training will be provided
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 pounds throughout the shift
- Dependable with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be available to start on Friday, August 14
- Must be available for the full project duration, including weekends
