Airframe & Powerplant Mechanic - Chesterfield, MO

Job Summary

AirNet II A&P Mechanics will ensure inspections, servicing, repairs, and maintenance are performed in accordance with the appropriate aircraft maintenance manual, company policies and procedures, and the Repair Station manual.

Functions/Responsibility

• Preflight and post flight checks for the aircraft
• Discrepancy repair on the aircraft
• Safely work in a shop environment using tools and equipment as necessary
• Complete assigned tasks outdoors and in inclement weather if required
• Insure that work performed gets inspected by the appropriate aircraft inspection personnel
• Complete required documentation for work performed
• Inspect, troubleshoot, adjust and repair aircraft and/or engines as assigned
• Complete required training as assigned
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Use basic computer skills to complete and document tasks
• Work productively individually or with an assigned crew
• Works with integrity and desire to maintain a high quality standard
• Report failures or deficiencies immediately

Requirements

• Education Requirements: Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED
• Qualifications, Certificates, Licenses & Document Requirements: A valid unrestricted driver’s license and A&P License
• Experience & Professional Skill: At least 3 years of maintenance experience, experience with Baron, Falcons, and Learjet 30 series, preferred
• Skills: Must pass DOT/FAA pre-employment drug screen and a DOT/FAA compliant background check, Understand, read and write English, Reliable, punctual, flexible, motivated, resourceful, energetic, organized and able to manage and be managed, Communicate effectively and work within a team-focused environment
• Physical Requirements: Light to moderate lifting is required, Must be able to climb and use a ladder, work stands, platforms and lift equipment, Work within a confined workspace(s)

Location Requirements

• Operation based in Chesterfield, MO at Spirit of St Louis Airport (SUS)
• No ability to work from home
• No relocation package for this position

• Must have jet experience
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
