ST Engineering Aerospace is located in Pensacola, FL, at the Pensacola International Airport. We are a renowned provider of aircraft maintenance and modification (AMM) services for commercial airlines and air freight operators. Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanical maintenance and repair on commercial aircraft types.
  • Perform routine access, open-ups, and servicing.
  • Perform lubrication.
  • Operate small tugs, forklifts, scissor lifts, and snorkel lifts.
  • Understand tagging, circuit breaker lockout procedures, and fuel cell entry procedures.
  • Perform component removal and installation with limited supervision.
  • Assist in basic rigging and adjustment tests.
  • Understand aircraft fueling, servicing, and marshalling.
  • Become familiar with system operations and cockpit layout.
  • Understand hazards associated with flight control operations.

Skills

Proficient working knowledge of the following skills is required:

  • Safety wiring
  • Engine servicing and CSD servicing
  • Tire inflation
  • Aircraft wash rack and cleaning procedures
  • Aircraft lube procedures
  • Hydraulic pressurization and depressurization
  • Wingwalker and aircraft towing
  • Aircraft marshalling
  • Torque wrench values and operation
  • Basic safety procedures
  • Engine cowling opening
  • Nose radome removal and installation
  • Application of external power
  • Stairs and entry door operation
  • APU servicing
  • Cargo door operation
  • Jack operator
  • Fuel tank entry procedures
  • Operation of reader printers and IPC
  • Electrical HOBART and HUFFER
  • General knowledge of all applicable F.A.R’s and company policy and procedures
  • Familiarity with all paperwork procedures including job cards, time cards, routine/non-routine cards, SRMs, service bulletins, and work sign-off/sell-off procedures

Work Environment

  • A moderate level of interpersonal skills is required to maintain effective relationships with various departments, co-workers, and supervision.
  • Requires mobility around all sections of the facility and dexterity to install various electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
  • Must possess the ability to distinguish colors to perform work adequately.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs and report to work regularly.

Requirements

  • 24 months of commercial or military aviation maintenance experience.
  • Airframe and/or Powerplant license is preferred but not required.
