Requirements
- Education/Training: High School diploma required. Associate's Degree in management or technical/scientific discipline preferred.
- Experience: 3+ years of professional experience in the required task area required.
- Broad working knowledge of FAA regulations, aircraft maintenance and inspection requirements.
- Knowledgeable in documenting maintenance actions in any of the following (USAF, USN and US Army) aircraft records to include digital maintenance data systems.
- Familiar with the installation of aerospace fasteners, rivets, nut plates etc.
Qualifications
- Must be a US citizen.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance may be required.
- Successful candidates must obtain minimum favorable Tier 1 personnel security investigation IAW Department of Defense Instruction 5200.46, DoD Investigative and Adjudicative Guidance for Issuing Common Access Card (CAC).
Skills
- Interpret technical manuals, work cards, blueprints, wire diagrams/schematics, and engineering drawings.
- Maintain shop supplies and perform preventive maintenance on assigned equipment.
- Operate complicated shop tools and equipment as trained and assigned.
- Perform inventory control using logging, tagging, and organizing procedures.
- Maintain tool control and accountability.
- Adhere to company policies and safety programs.
