About the role
The Aircraft Worker is responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries.
Responsibilities
- Perform aircraft detailing and polishing to the SAM FOX standard
- Work at heights and be comfortable reaching, bending, with a great sense of attention to detail
- Operate JLG, genies, and support equipment
- Assist with towing aircraft and ground handling as needed
- Operate ground support equipment and use hand tools, special tools, and fixtures as required
- Practice good housekeeping, tool control, FOD awareness/prevention, and safety at all times
- Maintain disinfection qualifications to perform required tasks
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Working knowledge of mechanical tools and aircraft safety
- Capable of operating portable fire-fighting equipment
- Able to read and comprehend technical data
- Occasional lifting of objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Able to obtain and maintain a flightline driver’s license
Qualifications
Formal military or civilian aircraft maintenance training is preferred.

Meticulous and thorough work, following proper procedures, using the right tools and products for each task, and a great sense of attention to detail.

Hiring hourly range: $43.15
