Aircraft Welder with Security Clearance

About the Role

We are seeking a welder with 5+ years of Tig welding experience and familiarity with D17.1 weld specifications. The position involves welding parts and/or assemblies with specific material thicknesses and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Weld parts and/or assemblies of light gauge material (.032 inches or lighter)
• Weld light gauge material to heavy stock (.090 or thicker)
• Weld assemblies and/or parts requiring welds close to the edge (within .25 inches or less), where the edge may be readily burned off, rendering the part and/or assembly useless
• Weld thick stock (.090 or thicker) where the part and/or assembly is easily damaged, and any imperfections in weld penetration are not permissible

Requirements

• 5+ years of Tig welding experience
• Familiarity with D17.1 weld specifications
