About the role

The Line Service Technician ensures safe ground operations and delivers exceptional client service at the FBO location. This role involves aircraft ground operations, client service, and facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe ground operations and deliver exceptional client service
• Conduct aircraft towing operations with precision and care
• Perform aircraft fueling operations following safety protocols
• Execute quality control procedures for fuel farms
• Direct and coordinate ramp movement for all arriving and departing aircraft
• Provide concierge-level service to pilots, passengers, and aircraft owners
• Operate point-of-sale systems with accuracy
• Transport flight crews and passengers using follow-me vehicles and ground transportation
• Anticipate client needs and deliver personalized service experiences
• Present and upsell services and amenities to enhance client satisfaction
• Operate tugs, trucks, and specialized ground support equipment safely
• Maintain clean, organized, and hazard-free ramp and hangar areas
• Inspect and report equipment issues promptly
• Follow all environmental and safety protocols related to fuel handling, spill prevention, and chemical storage
• Adhere to all FAA, TSA, and airport authority regulations governing FBO ground operations
• Complete required documentation for fueling, towing, and ground service transactions accurately and on time
• Participate in training programs, safety briefings, and skill development opportunities
• Communicate aircraft status, client preferences, and operational changes clearly to the team
• Report any ramp incidents, near-misses, or safety concerns through proper channels
• Support compliance with all Jet Access standard operating procedures and audit-readiness

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• Valid state driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
• Proficient computer skills and ability to read and respond to email and point-of-sale communications
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug and alcohol screening

Pay

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience. Overtime pay for all hours over 40 hours per week.

Schedule

Variable schedule aligned with airport and flight operations hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts. On-call, evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required based on operational needs. Flexibility is essential as schedules shift in response to aircraft arrivals, departures, and client requests.
