Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Determines airworthiness of work performed.
- Examines aircraft, engines, components and materials and records results of inspections to ensure continued airworthiness.
- Process daily incoming and outgoing material to meet Quality Control requirements as stated in the AAR Procedures Manual and Customer Requirements Manual.
- Interface with suppliers and product line to disposition rejects.
- Ensure all overhauls, checks and repairs are carried out in accordance with procedures as required in the applicable manuals and Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR).
- All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Need To Be Successful In This Role
- Minimum of an FAA Airframe rating is required; both FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) ratings is preferred.
- 3+ years Inspector experience with fixed wing transport aircraft such as Boeing 737, ERJ 175, Airbus, etc.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school, or four years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Fluent in English (speech, reading, writing)

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Constantly: standing, walking, wrist flexion and extension, working on uneven surfaces.
- Frequently: Lifting ≤30 lbs., climbing stairs, balancing, stooping, squatting, crawling, and kneeling on knees for extended periods.
- Working above chest-level and away from body for extended periods.
- Bending, twisting of torso, fine finger usage.
- Frequently: Lifting, carry, and push/pull ≤50 lbs., sitting, working overhead, basic color vision, operation of motorized/electrical equipment, and work in wet conditions.
- Occasionally: Twisting and/or pressure with wrist/hands, working at elevated heights ≥4’, energized parts, confined spaces, and environmental weather conditions.
