About the role
This position requires knowledge aircraft paint detailing and bright work. If you have a creative edge and a desire for working with your hands, then this is the position for you. You Will Be ESSENTIAL To Many FUNCTIONS Including Perform, wash, wax and detail work of aircraft interiors and exteriors. Polish, buff or treat aircraft sections as required. Shop floor clean-up and assistance in other minor cleaning duties. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management. Monitor and inspect aircraft detailing. Paint mixing and paint matching. Effectively and clearly communicate (i.e., speak, write, read) in English. Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Responsibilities
- Perform, wash, wax and detail work of aircraft interiors and exteriors.
- Polish, buff or treat aircraft sections as required.
- Shop floor clean-up and assistance in other minor cleaning duties.

Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
- Self-motivated, flexible, and skilled at working in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable transportation to get to work each day.
- Work under supervision of your Team Leader.
- Pass pulmonary physical.
- Pass respiratory fit test, as you must wear protective gear.
Qualifications
- Understanding and implementation of regulations and guidelines including but not limited to OSHA, haz mat, etc.
- Logically work with mechanical processes.
- Work with others in a professional manner.
- Good communication skills.
Skills
- Knowledge of aircraft paint detailing and bright work.
- Ability to perform detailed work on aircraft interiors and exteriors.
- Proficiency in using air equipment, polisher and sander, stripper pump, electrostatic paint guns, pressure posts, and laser level.
- Ability to work in various positions around the aircraft.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs.
- Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting.
- Standing on ladder or scaffold.

Locations & Lifestyle
The majority of work will be accomplished in a heated hangar or shop area. Work in aircraft on ramp may occur. Varied positions in and around the aircraft. Equipment Used: Air equipment, polisher and sander. Stripper pump, electrostatic paint guns, pressure posts, and laser level. Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
