Aircraft Mechanic III

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Review work assigned, obtain tools and necessary parts, and complete the job in a timely manner following the applicable manuals without sacrificing quality or safety.
  • Verify calibrated tooling used is current and properly noted on paperwork.
  • Ensure employees are always kept safe by following the company’s written policies regarding environmental health and safety.
  • Perform all work assigned in accordance with approved or accepted FAA data.
  • Maintain the premises in a clean and organized manner.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or other management personnel.

Education And Experience

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • 7-9 years of experience.
  • Large commercial aircraft experience preferred.

Skills And Abilities

  • Attention to detail is imperative.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to cooperate with others.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces or elevated areas.
  • Commitment to continuous learning (keeping up with new technologies & regulations).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exhibit a high level of confidentiality with work products.
  • Flexible to work any shift.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to lift fifty (50) lbs.
  • Subject to continual loud noises.
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, kneel, and stand for prolonged periods of time, climb steps, ladders and/or service stands.
  • Normal or corrected vision and hearing is required.
