Aircraft Mechanic II, MWO Inspector with Security Clearance

Responsibilities

• Performs inspection of MWO installations and MWO kit builds, ensuring that work is completed according to service guidance and local procedures.
• Maintains historical records and approves MWO installation work for assigned MWOs. Will coordinate for government QAR acceptance of MWO installations.
• Completes and approves local MWO installation packets.
• Enters MWO compliance records in both ACN and MCDS.
• Will request MECs through government LARs for maintenance that exceeds normal MWO allowances/directives.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must possess or be able to obtain a secret clearance.
• A minimum of 10 years in rotary wing aviation maintenance with an emphasis on electrical/avionic experience.
• Experienced with aircraft and component historical records.
• Experienced in ACN or equivalent electronic aircraft records systems.
• Must be able to climb in/on/around aircraft to inspect MWO installation work.
