Aircraft Mechanic I - Fuels (NVP)
- Working knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems, concepts and applications of maintenance directives, data reporting, and using technical data is mandatory.
- Knowledge of Air Force supply and efficiency reporting procedures is mandatory.
- Knowledge of the proper handling, use, and disposal of hazardous waste and materials is mandatory.
Responsibilities
- May be required to obtain/maintain the security clearance level as mandated by the government customer.
- Must be able to obtain/maintain a current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
- Must be able to move about both inside aircraft hangars and outside on aircraft ramps within close proximity of running equipment and aircraft.
- Must have a working knowledge of computers (input/extract data) and basic computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, Power Point, and Excel.
- May be required to obtain/maintain aircraft and/or equipment Red X/IPI/ER certification, as required.
- Position requires complying with unique commuting/travel requirements.
Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Must be physically capable of performing all assigned duties.
- Must be able and willing to meet OSHA, DCMA or additional industrial requirements including, hearing test, vision test to include color vision, respirator fit test and blood draw etc. to ensure workplace safety standard compliance.
- May be subjected to no-notice drug testing surveillance per Company policy or Customer’s direction to ensure a drug-free work environment.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current valid U.S. Driver’s License.
