WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Assist experienced A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) Mechanics in troubleshooting and repairing aircraft by following oral or written instructions and detailed written procedures
- Remove, clean, inspect, or replace aircraft components following training and written procedures
- Ensure work area is maintained in a clean, safe & organized manner daily
- Comply with regulations and procedures such as, Hazardous Material (HAZMAT), Foreign Object Damage (FOD), Tool Control, and OSHA safety practices
- Clean inside and outside aircraft windows and fuselage
- Vacuum aircraft floors, Wipe down and clean surfaces
- Remove trash and clean aircraft cockpit
- Help in other areas as needed or assigned
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
- Previous automotive or aircraft maintenance experience is preferred. New A&P Graduates encouraged to apply
- Professional appearance and excellent customer service skills; will need to interact with aircraft customers, passengers, and Epic team
- A positive teachable attitude, with a willingness to help any person on the team with any task
- Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently and effectively with initiative and limited direction
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer skills
- Able to work as part of a team to ensure meeting quality standards
- High standards for following instructions, work quality and productivity
- Some lifting may be required
- Able to stand for the majority of a shift in addition to moving about the facility to support the work
- Able to work with minimal supervision
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven individual
- Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Authorized to legally work in the U.S. for any company without sponsorship now or in the future
