Aircraft Maintenance Technician - RW - Located in McClellan Park, CA

Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs.
  • Provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
  • Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment.
  • Regularly update the equipment tracking log.
  • Place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.
  • Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required.
  • Adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
  • Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
  • Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.
  • Work collaboratively and in a professional manner with all allied health and public safety personnel as well as your fellow AMTs and operations team.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years turbine powered helicopter experience.
  • Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
  • Valid State issued Driver's license.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
  • EMS Systems, Aircraft maintenance systems, records and maintenance support and planning ability.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
  • Acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
  • Able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
  • Able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

  • EC135, EC145, H130, H125, and/or B200 maintenance experience preferred.
  • FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate preferred.
  • Related experience under CFR Parts 91, 135 and 145 preferred.
  • Autopilot maintenance experience preferred.
  • Avionics and electrical repair experience preferred.

Benefits

Starting Salary: $78,287 - $113,480 annually (including 20% geo modifier)

IA Stipend

Sign-On Bonus: 12,500
