Aircraft Maintenance Technician - FW
About the Role
We’re hiring an Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet within Guardian Flight. This technician will be qualified to support our Pilatus PC-12 airframe. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely, high-quality transportation services, care, and customer service to patients.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs, and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.
- Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary, and document part expenditures.
- Clearly document service paperwork and FAA information as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company’s information security standards.
- Sustain a safe and clean working environment for the aircraft maintenance team and flight crew.
- Use appropriate communication methods to facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors, and team members.
- Work collaboratively and professionally with all allied health and public safety personnel, fellow AMTs, and the operations team.
Requirements
- Two (2) years turboprop and/or turbine powered fixed-wing experience.
- Valid Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Valid State issued Driver's license.
- Federal Aviation Regulations knowledge.
- Experience with EMS Systems, aircraft maintenance systems, records, and maintenance support and planning.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
- Must be acceptable in accordance with the FAA drug and alcohol testing program.
- Must be able to push and/or pull 100+ lbs.
- Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Pilatus PC-12 maintenance experience.
- FAA Inspection Authorization Certificate.
- Related experience under 14 CFR Part 135.
- Autopilot maintenance experience.
- Avionics and electrical repair experience.
Pay
Starting salary: $65,239 - $94,567 annually. IA Stipend: $2,080. Sign-On Bonus: $12,500.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, with overtime and 24/7 on-call rotations.
