Year 1: $30.50 Year 2: $31.00 Year 3: $31.50 Year 4: $34.50 Year 5: $36.00 Year 6: $37.00 $2.00 shift differential added when working from 9:00PM - 7:30AM ***$10,000 Cash Bonus will be awarded after a 12 month commitment to Breeze*** $5,000 after six months $5,000 after 12 months **Our BDL AMTs also receive a stipend of $800 a month** The Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) is responsible for performing maintenance, preventative maintenance, and alterations of Breeze aircraft, including troubleshooting, performing run-up and taxi procedures, and signing mechanical flight releases. The Aircraft Maintenance Technician reports to a Line Maintenance Supervisor and carries out instructions as assigned in accordance with FAA regulations and Breeze policy and procedures. As certified AMTs, you have an important role to ensure the safety of our fellow Breeze Team members and Guests as well as the airworthiness of our fleet. Here’s What You’ll Do Perform all assigned maintenance duties in accordance with the Breeze General Maintenance Manual (GMM)Responsible and accountable for all work performedComplete all appropriate Breeze forms on all work assigned and performedProperly handle all parts, units, assemblies, and aircraft while in the repair processEnsure that all documentation is kept current as to open discrepancies and completed corrective actionsComplete all associated and required documentation for all maintenance work performed or inspections conducted accurately and correctlySubmit personal OJT Task Cards on time and accuratelyMaintain the work area in a safe, clean, and operative condition and ensure all tools are accounted for at completion of all assigned tasksProperly care for and use tooling and equipment used for aircraft maintenanceNotify the Maintenance Supervisor and all other appropriate Team Members of any condition that would compromise the airworthiness of Breeze aircraftMaintain a valid Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) Certificate, or Repairman Certificate, and keep the certificate available for inspection by the FAA, NTSB, or Breeze Supervisor/ManagerPerform other duties and tasks as assigned by Maintenance Leadership, MOC, and/or DOMAchieve performance measures and adhere to established standards in conjunction with Breeze Aviation Group Values of Safety, Kindness, Integrity, Ingenuity and Excellence Minimum Qualifications Here’s what you need to be successful Must be at least 18 years of ageHigh school diploma or equivalent educational achievementMust hold a current, valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant License (A&P) with no history of infractions and recent experience on commercial aircraft typesAbility to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specificationsMust have a valid driver’s licenseMust have a valid passport with no travel restrictionsMust have authorization to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986Must be flexible and willing to work days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime if neededMust be willing to travel 20% of the timeMust be willing to work with other departments within the company as neededMust pass a DOT pre-employment drug testMust pass a TSA required fingerprint-based criminal history records check and a Breeze background checkAbility to read, write, speak and understand the English languageMust be able to obtain and maintain a SIDA badge in accordance with TSA requirements Preferred Qualifications Understanding and working knowledge of FAA regulations including FAR part 121 operationsExperience maintaining Embraer E-Jet and/or Airbus A220 family aircraftFamiliar with an airline Maintenance Information System (MIS) such as TRAXDegree in Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance or Business Degree preferred Skills/Talents Skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)Must be fluent in EnglishExemplifies Breeze’s safety culture, values, and missionExcellent oral and written communication skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsAbility to work with individuals and teams at all levels in the organization Physical Demands & Working Conditions Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull items up to 50 pounds, and occasionally up to 75 pounds (with assistance as needed)Climb ladders, work stands, and aircraft structures, and work at elevated heightsWork in confined spaces, awkward positions, and varying weather conditions on the ramp or in the hangarRegularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach for extended periodsFrequent use of hands and arms to operate tools and handle components, requiring manual dexterityAdequate vision to inspect closely and hearing to detect unusual sounds; exposure to noise and fumes Perks of the Job Health, Vision and Dental – Full TimeHealth Savings Account with Breeze Employee Match401K with Breeze Employee MatchGenerous PTOTravel on Breeze and other Airlines too!
