About the role

We specialize in custom sheet metal restoration and structural fabrication for vintage aircraft. Join our team and learn from experienced craftsmen in a hands-on, airport-based environment. Full-time position with on-the-job training. Opportunity to work toward your A&P license. Tools provided: 6,000 sq. ft. shop, FBO located at the airport. Work on rare & historic aircraft. Responsibilities

• Custom sheet metal restoration
• Structural fabrication for vintage aircraft
• Hands-on work in a hands-on, airport-based environment
• On-the-job training
• Opportunity to work toward your A&P license
• Use of tools including but not limited to welding equipment, hand tools, and measuring instruments

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in aircraft maintenance or fabrication preferred
• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license

Qualifications

• Completion of a Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certificate program is preferred
• Knowledge of aircraft systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Good communication skills
