Aircraft Maintenance - Student Employee (Fall)

Part-time student employee position for cleaning and light preventive maintenance on aircraft fleet.

Pay

Targeted salary of $13/hr, based on education and experience.

Schedule

Various shifts available 7 days a week, 2 to 5 hours per shift. Morning shifts: 6am to 10am. Evening shifts: 7pm to midnight.

Responsibilities

• Assist dispatch with pulling planes out of or into hangars
• Ensure all required materials are in the plane
• Clean facilities and general upkeep of aircraft interiors
• General inspection and maintenance of aircraft
• Aircraft material condition checks (upholstery, floor mats, etc.)
• Log squawks for found issues on interior (not on FSP)
• Check tire treads and pressure
• Inspect windshield clarity
• Verify 100 hr black book has paper and is not destroyed
• Replace hood if needed
• Replace Gats Jar if needed
• Check and replace checklist if needed
• Verify ARROW documents
• Inspect tie down condition (knots/frayed)

Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in the Fall 2026 Term as a student at the University of Oklahoma
• FAA Private Pilot License required
• Hiring contingent upon verification of current student status
• Hiring contingent upon a background check and driver’s license check
