Basic Qualifications
- At least 10 years demonstrated leadership, organizational and professional experience in managing aircraft logistics and maintenance services in a flight test or high-tempo aviation operational environment.
- Experience coordinating with Item Managers, Supply Service Providers, Flight Test Control Engineers, System Engineers, Maintenance, or Logistics Support Managers on support equipment issues as they arise.
- Experience with such programs as; JSF Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS), Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Training, Safety, Security, Hazardous Waste Management and Distribution or Support Equipment Management.
- Must be a US Citizen.
Job Description
We are Lockheed Martin Aircraft Maintenance Associate Manager of the F-35 Integrated Test Force (ITF), to support 1st shift 9/80A Schedule, personnel located at Edwards AFB, CA. This position provides management oversight of the Aircraft Supervisors, Hourly Technician workforce, Maintenance Control Specialists. Will also assist management/oversight of hangar floor and flightline operations. Serve as an interview team member as required. Provide company guidance and administrative information flowed down by the Management Team. Will provide OJT, coaching, and mentoring of first line L3 supervisors. Will assist management team in executing priorities, while also identifying changes to priorities throughout the day while communicating changes to management.

Desired Skills
- Advanced interpersonal and communications skills to be effective in a high tempo test environment.
- Auto-Time Accounting experience
- Ability to effectively communicate with customers, team partner companies, and local base authorities critical for success.
- Prior military or civilian equivalent operational maintenance and logistics experience highly desirable; specifically organizational and intermediate maintenance experience.
- An authority in fighter aircraft maintenance, operations and support disciplines.
- Flight test support and planning experience to include retrofit management support.
- Familiarity with the F-35 maintenance and logistics, test and evaluation requirements, technical publications approach, supportable low observable support concept and an understanding level of knowledge of the F35 support equipment management.
