About the role

The aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling/defueling and servicing of aircraft at the airport. You will perform simple mathematical functions such as adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing with regards to weight, measurement, and volume to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions as they pertain to fueling. This role requires maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
• Responsible for accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
• Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment and maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
• Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
• Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.

Schedule

• 1st shift: 4:00 AM – 12:30 PM
• 2nd shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• 3rd shift: 8:00 PM – 4:30 AM

Must have a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English and perform basic math calculations.
• Handle fueling carts and fueling hoses, which will require lifting and moving up to 70 lbs.
• Work is done primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
• Prior experience preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
