About the role

The Aircraft Fueler is responsible for the safe and efficient fueling, defueling, and servicing of aircraft at the airport. This role involves performing simple mathematical functions to interpret aircraft weight and balance loading instructions related to fueling, and maintaining a safe and secure work environment in accordance with local health, safety, and security policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Perform fueling in a safe and efficient manner, drive and operate fuel trucks, hydrant carts, and stationary carts to fuel aircraft.
  • Ensure accurate accounting of fuel transactions.
  • Perform daily Quality Control checks on equipment and maintain equipment in clean and functional condition.
  • Ensure the correct loading and balancing of fuel.
  • Responsible for defueling aircraft as directed.
  • Maintain responsibility for health, safety, and wellbeing of self and others in accordance with workplace safety rules.
  • Comply with the company’s Substance Misuse Policy, including regular testing for alcohol and drugs.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Must possess a valid US driver's license.
  • Must pass pre-employment color vision test and drug screen.
  • Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to lift and move up to 70 lbs (e.g., fueling carts and hoses).
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations.
  • Work is primarily outdoors; must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
  • Must pass background check and obtain US customs seal.
  • Must be available and flexible to work variable shifts, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must have authorization to work in the USA.

Prior experience is preferred, including possession of a Commercial Driver’s License or experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.

Schedule

5 consecutive working days with 2 consecutive days off. Overtime may be required. Shift example: 12:30 PM – 9:00 PM (2nd shift).
