WHAT YOU'LL DO
As a member of Epic Flight Support, the Aircraft Detailer / Shop Helper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of aircraft interiors and exteriors to the highest standards. This role involves cleaning, polishing, and detailing aircraft surfaces while ensuring a safe and professional environment for customers and team members. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work, enjoy hands-on tasks, and have an interest in the aviation industry. Training is provided, and there are opportunities for growth and advancement within Epic Flight Support.
Responsibilities
- Vacuum aircraft floors, wipe down, and clean interior surfaces
- Remove trash and clean aircraft cockpits and cabins
- Clean and polish interior and exterior aircraft surfaces
- Clean inside and outside aircraft windows and fuselage
- Maintain a clean and organized shop area
- Absorb additional duties as needed or assigned
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous automotive or aviation cleaning/detailing experience is preferred
- Previous experience or a strong interest in the aviation industry
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, airport, or Fixed Base Operator (FBO) is a plus
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Outstanding customer service skills; this role frequently interacts with customers, passengers, and Epic team members
- Self-motivated, self-disciplined, organized, and driven
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the facility for the majority of the shift
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail
- Ability to lift materials and equipment as required
COMPENSATION AND SCHEDULE
- Monday – Friday
- 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Starting Pay: $20.00/hour
