Responsibilities
- Disassembly and assembly of thrust reverser components
- Inspection of structural and mechanical elements
- Rigging and operational checks
- Tracing and troubleshooting discrepancies in accordance with approved technical data
Requirements
- Able to interpret blueprints, engineering documents, and use precision measuring tools
- Proficient operation of all tools/equipment in the department including glass bead and carboblast machines
- Basic understanding of shop math
- Experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation, and servicing
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must possess basic understanding of shop math
- 2 years experience in one of the following or other related experience: Sheetmetal, hydraulic overhaul, electrical/electronic harness buildup, electrical systems troubleshooting, battery servicing, APU removal, installation, and servicing
