Airborne Instrumentation Engineering Technician
About the role
Develop electronic systems and components to use within equipment or machinery. Support other engineers when necessary. Apply advanced advisory skills and extensive technical expertise, including full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction, and mentor and supervise team members.
Responsibilities
- Develop electronic systems and components for aircraft instrumentation design, modification, or installation
- Support other engineers in tasks as needed
- Apply advanced advisory skills and technical expertise to solve complex problems
- Work independently and mentor team members
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in aircraft instrumentation design, modification, or installation
- Experience with AutoCAD software for developing electrical installation drawings, including AutoCAD Electrical
- Knowledge of military, SAE, IEEE, and ANSI standards for airworthiness and safety
- Knowledge of military parts specifications and ordering requirements
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and multi-disciplinary team environment
- Ability to obtain Secret clearance

Pay
The projected compensation range for this position is $69,400.00 to $158,000.00 (annualized USD).
Schedule
Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in Booz Allen’s benefit programs. Individuals that do not meet the threshold are only eligible for select offerings, not inclusive of health benefits.
