Air Quality Planner (Environmental Planner 3) (In-Training)
About the role
You will be on the front line of developing air quality policy for the State of Washington. You will get to work with scientists, engineers, economists, other planners, and communication experts as part of a team to develop air quality rules and plans. You will consult with Federal Environmental Protection Agency staff and engage with Washington industry, environmental justice, and local government stakeholders in the creation of rules and plans for protecting air quality in Washington.

Requirements
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and at least 1 year of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A Master's degree may substitute for 2 years of experience.

Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work collaboratively with a diverse group of professionals.
